Vinita Nair

The station was founded in July 2004, and has since reported across a variety of topics, including investigation into the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation and school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair was recruited to ABC News in December 2007 as a anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now. As a reporter she hosted live coverage and news briefs for ABC's online network. Nair was the co-anchor for World News Now and America This Morning on ABC starting on September 17, 2008, until February 18, 2011. In both programs Nair was initially paired together with Jeremy Hubbard then later Rob Nelson. Nair made it clear to viewers on World News Now that she would not be appearing in World News Now after Friday 18th of February 2011. Also, it would be her final day at ABC News. Peggy Bunker from KDVR Denver was immediately her successor. World News Now, February 18, featured three tributes to Nair. The former and present colleagues also appeared in the segments. Nair treated her crew to an excellent breakfast in her final day. Vinita Vinita Vinita Vinita
