Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef and former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. Anne W. Burrell is host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef for the Food Network, as well as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host with spiky blond wigs and a pumped-up personality, explains how to prepare restaurant-style meals in your home with simple techniques. Chef Burrell was employed at New York at top restaurants as well as studied Italian cuisine traditions and geography. She also competed as Iron Chef America on Food Network. As a child in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was inspired by food. Following her graduation with an English and Communication diploma in Canisius College in Buffalo NY she pursued her passion for the business of restaurant by enroling as a student at The Culinary Institute of America. The Culinary Institute of America was an amazing experience for me. The Culinary Institute of the Americas was a great location to learn. When I graduated from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, chef Burrell took a full year in Italy learning and working in La Taverna del Lupo restaurant in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 one Michelin rating in Tuscany. Her time spent in Italy helped her to understand and appreciate the Italian way of life and its culture and this has left an impact on her own food and culinary experience. Burrell participates on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that helps brighten the lives of kids who struggle. Additionally, she is an Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Celebrity Advocate, where she has a mission to raise awareness for juvenile diabetics. Burrell is often a guest presenter at conferences, and she travels the country to mentor others in her task. In her journey to culinary excellence, Anne has often said that I am extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to share what I love most to others.
